There are different ways to donate to KAAS! It costs us well over $200 to put an animal on the adoption floor and ensure that it goes home healthy. For less than a cup of coffee or a soda a day, you can make the difference in a pet's life.
KAAS is a non-profit organization started and ran entirely by private donations. A donation to the Kearney Area Animal Shelter directly impacts animals in YOUR community. Your contribution stays local.​​​

Financial donations may be made in person, by mail, telephone, or through our website. The Kearney Area Animal Shelter accepts cash, credit card, and checks ONLY for donations. Any amount is truly appreciated. Make an online donation here.

Donations of goods are helpful too. We contract with Hills Science Diet pet foods to provide our Shelter with food. We still accept dog food as we are able to distribute the food to those who are in need of pet food. Some of our biggest needs are clay cat litter, Nyla-bones, toys, and dog treats.

Sustain Our Shelter Project Member is a monthly recurrent donor project that helps cover the Shelter's operation costs.
